Creativity and humility go hand-in-hand. They allow me to be curious about a problem, before jumping to conclusions. I assume the best intentions in people and employ them as a springboard into collaboration. I’ve learned to laugh at myself when I mess up, which I do, now and then. I am as grateful for an opportunity to give counsel, as I am to receive it.

2018-Present
Senior Digital Designer | LEGO

I lead designers in creating bespoke, digital-marketing experiences crafted to display the intricate details of exciting new products to shoppers, holistically across channels. I help inform LEGO’s branded, online presence with the design of static and motion content at key, online-retail checkpoints. I collaborate with user-experience designers, developers and copywriters to create considerate shopper journeys. I’ve supported and proposed testing to help shoppers accomplish their goals online efficiently. I’ve facilitated and expedited content production that maintains consistent quality, within my department, by creating asset libraries, templates and styleguides. I enable my department’s growth and development by presenting technical information and best practices in shareouts, as well as in one-to-ones with colleagues.

Highlights: Setting a benchmark for motion content design in the online retail experience. Organized multi-day photoshoots to develop asset libraries for product-specific, content creation. Participated in volunteer opportunities for community outreach as an ambassador of the brand. Supported the individual development and contributed to the success of junior designers within my department.

2016-2018
UX/UI Director | Adams & Knight

I Integrated a system of best practices to improve the digital design process within the agency’s creative department. I optimized collaboration between design and development teams on marketing applications that surpassed business objectives. I facilitated consensus among colleagues and clients with a transparent design process.

Clients: Webster Bank, MIB, HSA Bank, National Life Group, Connecticut Office of Tourism

Highlights: Enhanced the creative process at the agency by introducing wireframes, prototypes and design systems to enable communication between account teams and clients, as well as creative and development.

2010-2016
Senior Art Director | Epsilon

I initiated and collaborated on multi-channel marketing programs that connected brands and consumers. I guided designers and copywriters in realizing these programs in imaginative and surprising ways. I led brainstorming sessions to provoke creative solutions for achieving the client’s business objectives. I liaised with and presented to clients to promote partnership and facilitate creative approvals.

Clients: Breyers Ice Cream, Edge Shaving Gel, Fruttare, Hellmann’s, Lindt Chocolate, Magnum Ice Cream

Highlights: Launched the Fruttare fruit bars brand in the US with website, social media and experiential activations. Helped pitch and win Lindt Chocolate’s business for the agency.

2007-2010
Creative Lead | The Concept Studio

I worked closely with account leads to build creative marketing experiences, engaging users across both online and experiential channels. I enhanced the client’s brand presence with a consistent design vocabulary and cutting edge interactivity.

Clients: AT&T, Nascar, Sprint, Yellowpages

Highlights: Designed AT&T Prizebuddy with conversational UI, that allowed users to answer trivia questions and participate in promotions through their instant messenger application.

1999-2007
Art Director | Digitas

I designed digital marketing campaign assets for major international brands, as the lead designer in client teams. I built brand presence with thoughtful solutions and interactive executions.

Clients: Delta Airlines, Dice, Harris Direct, IBM, Intel, Kraft Foods

Awards: Finalist at the 48th annual Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. Winner of the 2002 Eyeblaster Awards.
